OCR Nero II (reg. TMG)

Silhouette Farms Spanish and Tennessee Meat Goats

Introducing:~
Our newest sire, OCR Nero II, direct from Onion Creek Ranch in Texas, a registered Tennessee Meat Goat(tm).

All goats are pasture raised. We do not restrict them to pens, rather they are encouraged to remain outdoors (with shelter available during inclement weather & kidding) by feeding & watering in the pasture.

We are excited about the results of our Tennessee Meat Goat(tm)/Spanish crosses due late spring 2004 as well as our first fullblood Myotonic kids from Nero and OCR Missy, a solid black fullblood myotonic (below).

Nero is expected to place heavy meat on Spanish wethers and shorten the stature of the cross doelings in order to put more emphasis on heavier muscling rather than growing longer legs. We are very excited about this cross as Mike Kearby in Texas has been doing his own research with remarkable success.
UPDATE: 7-18-04 NeroII, Missy and her buckling kid are FOR SALE.
$1300 for all or separate (NeroII $850 / Missy $300 / buckling $200)
