Happy Birthday Leo
Harry, Leo and Nikki were sitting around the lab discussing a case when the phone rang, Harry went to answer it but Nikki nudged him, as if to say no, let Leo answer it while Leo was talking on his black-slimline BT phone, Nikki beckoned Harry outside with her.
Nikki: (pulling harrys jacket sleeve) come on, quick while he's talking
Harry: (grinning) what is it?
Nikki: oh for goodness sake harry, this isn't so we can fool around without him seeing, do you ever think about anything else
Harry gave a small smile and Nikki kissed him on the cheek.
Nikki: i'm sorry harry, but we've got bigger things to think about right now
Harry: ummm....like what?
Nikki: don't tell me you don't know whats happening on the 19th?
Harry: ummm....you're gonna have to enlighten me Nik
Nikki: it's Leo's birthday!
Harry: oh!.......and
Nikki: its the big 4....0
Harry: whats that got to do with us?
Nikki: Harry!
Harry: alright only kidding, what should we do
Nikki: well.....i was thinking that we could throw him a surprise party!
Harry: what like with balloon animals, bouncy castle and pin the tail on the donkey
Nikki: i was thinking more along the lines of, a drink in the bar, followed by a meal, then a party in the place down the road
Harry: can we have strippers?
Nikki: harry! i should think not, old Mr & Mrs Wells would love that wouldn't they? and besides, aren't i enough for you?
Harry: i don't want you to strip Nik
Nikki: NO ONE IS STRIPPING!
Harry: alright, no strippers, what about bunny girls?
Nikki: Harry!
Harry: i was thinking of what Leo would like
Nikki: in that case, why don't we bring the speciment jars along
Harry: what about the guests?
Nikki: your right, we don't really know any of Leo's other friends
Harry: ok, don't tell him, but i've got a key for his drawer so we can get his address book out
Nikki: how did you get that?
Harry: you don't want to know Nikki, you really don't.
Nikki: ok, so you distract him and i'll get the book
Harry: why can't you disract him?
Nikki: alright then, but please hurry up
Nikki ran quickly down to the lab where leo was just finishing his call
Leo: that was DI Ted Baxter, he wants me to go and look at a body down by the canal
Nikki: oh ok, do you want me to hold the fort then (gesturing he go out the back door)
Leo: whats going on
Nikki: nothing, i just though you might want to go this way, its a straight shot to your parking space
Leo: i have to get my bag
Nikki: ok, i'll come with you
Nikki tried to get Leo to walk as slowly as possible, they were just outside the lab when nikki noticed, harry was still in Leo's office, she didn't think there would be enough time for Harry to get out.
Nikki: leo!
just as he turned to look at her, she lifted up her top, giving harry enough time to slip out
Leo: bloody hell, nikki, what are you doing
Nikki: sorry Leo, i don't know what came over me
Leo shook his head in disbelief, with a large grin on his face. Nikki walked around the corner to see harry who was clutching Leo's address book.
Harry: how'd you get him to stop?
Nikki: never mind harry, never mind
