Only After: By Ceton

Only after the blocks have fallen,
did we raise our flags
As our children crave their toys,
only after they've been taken
We raise our guns in vengance and upon
horseless wings we fly,
towards our chosen battlefields to die
So now we keep our watchful vigil
But did we not realize?
How we classify our enemy,
By their skin or their oil
Only after we have won,
do we stand in cold silence
Only after do we stand,
for our fallen comrades on the field
Only after we have slaughtered,
did we raise our flags in final triumph
