"Wait a minute.",Harry said to Ron. Harry turned towards the girl's dorms. He shouted up the stairs, "Hermione,Christina? Are you going to Potions?"
Christina opened the door and ran down the stairs past Harry. Then Hermione came out, red faced but not crying. Ron looked at Hermione but she turned her head away and followed Christina and Liz out the portrait hole. Ron shrugged and he and Harry walked behind them out the door.
They all walked down to the dungeons. Hermione,Christina,and Liz sat in the front of the room. They had their heads bowed and they were whispering to each other. When Harry and Ron walked in Harru looked at Christina and pointed to the back desks.Christina shook her head and turned back to her conversation with Hermione and Liz. Harry stared at them for minute until Ron pushed him into the back seat.
Harry watched the girls talk,"Hey Ron, Do you have a feeling that those girls are talking about us?"
Ron looked at Harry, "You feel like that too?"
Harry smiled, then the rest of the class filed in. Everyone came in a sat down and began to chatter but Professor Snape walked into the class. He glared at the class.
"Put away your wands. Turn to page 3. Bring out your cauldrons. Take your ingredients from the shelves and begin your Shivering Solution."
Harry glared at him. He would never forgive Snape, no matter how much Dumbledore trusted him. By the end of class Harry had been taunted, teased, and shivering for 15 minutes because of the Slytherins, mainly Draco. Harry just couldn't wait till Care of Magical Creatures. Harry dipped his ladle into his cauldron and filled a cup with his Shivering Solution and brought it up to Snape's desk. It wasn't exactly the pink color it was supposed to be but Harry didn't care. He just wanted to leave. Snape looked at Harry's cup.
He swung his arm and knocked over the cup, "Oh how clumsy of me. I'm sorry Potter but you're just going to have to write me a 6 foot essay on the importance and the dangers of the Shivering Solution along with your other homework. I'm sorry."
Harry put away his cauldron with a wave of his wand, picked up his bag, and stomped out of the dungeons. Ron followed him out of the dungeons, "Hey where are the girls?"
Harry pointed in front of them. The three were giggling like crazy as Harry and Ron reached them.
Christina waved good bye,"I'm off to Muggle Studies everyone. Good bye.", and she headed up the stairs.
The other four headed outside towards Hagrid's hut.Harry heard people calling his name from behind him but Hermione whispered, "Ignore them,they're gits."
Harry nodded and kept walking. They reached Hagrid's hut with the Slytherins on their heels.
Malfoy came up to Harry, "Hey Potter, Are you planning to throw your little Christina in jail too or is she free for the picking?"
Harry grabbed Malfoy's collar, "If you touch Christina I swear Malfoy you'll be even worse off than your father."
Just then Hagrid came out and pulled the two apart, "Now, now, settle down. I've got a real treat fer yeah today."
Hagrid went around the back of his house and came back with a large crate. Ron rolled his eyes and moaned, "Please don't tell me we have to tend Flobberworms again!"
Hagrid laughed, "No Ron, we don't. This time we get to tend somethin' a lil' more in'er'estin'."
Then, the class saw the box jump and a loud squealing sound emitted from it. The class began to murmur and Neville turned deathly pale.
Hagrid stared at his class with laughter dancing in his eyes, "Nothin' to be scared about Neville! This is called a Nillypuss. It won't hurt you unless you choose to pervoke it, so I think Mr.Malfoy should maybe step back a bit."
The class burst into laughter, applause, and some boos and hisses.
Hagrid continued, "Now stand back and give it space. I only got one and I don't need it scared away."
Hagrid then slowly lifted the lid of the crate and out jumped the strangest creature Harry had ever seen.
