| My name is Ramona Mendelsohn. I was born October 13th, 1983 in a Long Island middle class suburb where I was raised. I was labeled gifted and talented from early on. I was a creative kid, I made little things out of paper and tape, I read tons and tons and tons of books, though I had a marked appitite for science and science fiction with a capacity for the understanding and construction of each respectively. I didn't watch much television until I was much older but when I did, I was hooked on the X-Files, The Lone Gunmen (Langly is so cute!) and other programs that promised the secrets behind this crazy world of ours. Maybe it was a predecessor to what happened next. |
| When I was fifteen, I was abducted by aliens. My parents found me in the backyard that night, screaming my head off and with my arm broken. Some of the grass was scorched.) Ever since then, I've been involved in the occult. How can you not when you can move things around the room and light things on fire by justt thinking about it? Add to the fact I just "got" numbers overnight... weird... My parents think I'm "a bit off" and have dragged my to several psychologists all over the state, but I've found most of my solace over the internet. I met a group calling themselves the Star Coucil, who understand where I'm coming from. There is also another group, the Thal'hun, who are a bit more eccentric. I would go off to California in a second but mom would think I went and joined a cult and stick her head in the oven. Don't get me wrong, all I'm saying is that there is something out there that some of these...things must have been based on. I'm a smart kid, how I can go through life not thinking about things like this? Then again, maybe I've inhailed to much of my sisters nail polish remover. Luckily, when I arrived at New Bremen, I met up with another group, the Sons of Ether. They're a little weird, like me, and while not all of our theories match, I definately get along with most of the members and have learned a lot about this strange little orb of ours. Watch out world, Ramona Mendelsohn is on the case and ready to solve the Mysteries of the cosmos... As long as I get home in time to watch the Discovery channel... Style Sleeper: Ramona is a science fiction fan, though she is more into theory as opposed to slavering fandom. Ramona beleives in aliens, space travel and high technology. Thus, she fully accepts hypertech and related concepts. Paradigms that incorportate high science or science-fiction like ideas (teleportation, neat gadgets), she beleives to have been decended from some sort of space bourne abilties and that those posessing them have some sort of rare DNA or conection to outerspace. Spirtual magics (dreamspeaker, verbena etc.) are completely lost on her. OOC: Obviously, Ramona wasn't really abducted by aliens. It was her avatar trying to Awaken. Hyptnotism and mind magic will reveal a dream of moving, shifting shapes and strange metalic items, reflecting a strange questing essence and dynamic resonance. This also shows why her powers reflect the earthy triad of forces, matter and life. |
