Born and raised in suburbia, Eyde was a bit out of place in normalville southern New England. While everyone else played football and went to the mall, Eyde holed up in libraries, surfed the net, never shut up about her interests in pretty much everything under the sun...or moon...
However, this doesn't leave her a complete bore and without imagination, she has some interesting stories, has read a wide selection of books on all sorts of topics and her sachel is a bottomless pit of facts, opinions and junk. True to her nature and demenor, she loves to talk...
The University has the most wonderful writing major.There is also an, um, interesting mythology department. Even though Eyde was only into mythology as a kid and on and off as she tried to write science fiction stories, she decided to give the department's class offerings a try.
She's used her knowledge to run a study on local myths and discovered these things called sorcery and magic... She's cast some astrology a couple of times....and sometimes is right...maybe...... and once moved a dime across a desk, though it might have been someone who bumped the table while she was thinking... that sounds like a better explination....this might require a bit more study...
So like scientists of yore, Eyde is learning sorcery herself to she can futher understand the forces behind it...
