| Eddie Brock ,(aka Venom), was once a reporter for The Daily Bugle now turned protector of innocents. His lonely life as a reporter was crushed when Spider-man exposed a false story of Brocks, getting him fired and ruining his life. Hating Spider-man for what he had done, he went into seclusion to be alone...but not for long. The alien symbiote that Peter Parker once wore now had a hatred for him. Seeking out Brock and learning of his own hatred for the wall-crawler, the two bonded and now are Venom. Venom has all of Spider-man's strengths and ablities but at a greater level. Venom is invisible to Spider-man's spider sense. The only real wekness to the symbiote is loud noises and fire. On several occations, Spider-man and Venom have had to put aside their differences and work together to defeat a common foe. |
