Alan had shot a doe the night before and Wayne came up this morning to help track it. Coming in he saw a few deer cross the road in front of him so when he got with Donnie they walked back
down the road so he could show him where he had seen them. Another deer ran across the field and up to the road then stopped. Wayne took the shot and the deer dropped in its track and started kicking. They finished her off with one well placed shot through the heart.(after 3 less than perfect shots).
