| Paul heard 4 gobblers at daylight and set up on this one. It was Snowing, cold and very windy. He made a few calls and the tom answered with a gobble from he guessed 700 yards down the mountain. Probably worried that he would loose the hen in the high winds, the big tom covered that distance in no time flat, but when it got to where Paul was set up it passed him up. Paul nerviously waited until the bird got out of sight then he quickly moved to the other side of the tree then set up again. He then called the gobbler back. This time it ran into a full load of buckshot that turned him a flip. All Paul said was.............April Fool |
