Wayne took Josh hunting on the Kentucky youth hunt. They set up on the ridge where Wayne had found a good trail. After awhile two deer came in so Josh cocked his rifle and pulled the trigger, but it only snapped, he had not put a round in the chamber yet. He quickly worked the gun and took the shot. The Button buck fell to the ground.
The first of many deer is in the record book.
