Cheryl is the daughter of Harry and his late wife. It was her idea to visit Silent Hill. Just before Harry and Cheryl arrive in Silent Hill, a figure suddenly appeard in the middle of the road, Harry tried to avoid the figure and accidentally crashed the car into a ditch. When Harry awakens from the crash he realizes that Cheryl is gone. Harry sets out to explore Silent Hill in order to find his daughter.
