| Prue is the eldest of the Halliwell sisters. Because of her mother's passing at a young age and their father leaving them, she assumed the role of "mom" and guardian of her younger sisters. She believes in her mind that her father died when he stepped through that door and has a maternal concern for her sisters. She was really popular in high school. She was class president and a cheerleader. Since Piper was usually teased and pushed around by her peers, Prue would often bully them up. By the time she was seventeen, she was a bit on the rebellious side but she began to learn her responsibilities and overcame that carelessness inside. At the beginning of the series, she was working at Bucklands as an auctioneer for antiques. Because of the hassle of balancing her personal life and her witch life, she faced getting fired countless of times. Later on, she realized that she was beginning to become a workaholic, so she decided to start to slow down a bit. She was then hired as a photographer for 411 Magazine and left Bucklands and her partner, Jack, behind. Prue has been in many brief romances. The only long-term relationship she had was with Andy Trudeau, an inspector. They started dating early in the series, and then broke off, and then went back together again. When he found out who she really was, he came to her for guidance and even gave his life to protect her. Later, she sort of got involved with Jack, but their relationship ended when she left Bucklands. Her last romance was with Bane, who turned out to be a demon. Just as her name means, she is the cautious sister. She believes in responsibility and despite the fact that her younger sisters don't really need her anymore, she still has that maternal caution and concern for them. She has a special bond with Piper and had a rugged terrain with Phoebe during the first season but later, they laid out their problem and are often funny together. Prue died at 2001 against the demon, Shax. |
