| Paige is the youngest of the Halliwell sisters. She is the daughter of Patty Halliwell and her whitelighter, Sam. After she was born, on August 2, 1977, they took her to a convent and gave her to Sister Agnes. She was adopted by someone else and was raised normally, like everyone else with a surname of Matthews. She was mysteriously drawn to Prue's funeral one day when the remaining two realized that she was their sister. She has trouble dealing with the fact that she's a witch and will need guidance from her older sisters and sometimes uses her powers for personal gain. She has been dating a normal guy named Shane for over a month. The dark side, particularly the Source, wants Paige because of her abilities and will try to turn her to the dark side, but she joined her sisters instead. Paige has a past on drinking and bad relationships. Paige admits that she had a particularly strange childhood and that she was a "weird" child. She remembers a fairy tail particularly well, and in fact, lived that story in her past life, where she was evil. She also had a drinking problem in the past and she moves in with her fellow sisters a few episodes later. She is rather artistic and is still mastering the art of making spells. She grew distrustful of Cole after he began exhibiting strange behaviour. |
