| Don't let his looks decieve you; Cole may look like a dashing 20 something year old DA officer but he's actually the notorious, 100-year-old Belthazor, a demon who trusts no one. He is a charming man and used it to get to the Halliwells as mission to ilfiltrate them and them destroying them. But he was not aware of the a certain variable; falling in love with one of the Halliwells. Cole is the offspring of a demon and a mortal woman. His father's soul was then taken by the Source for Cole's obedience. He learned his powers of Belthazor with help from his mentor, Raynor, and was known to be one of the most cunning and the most deadly demons who has ever walked on the face of the Earth. He had no distractions, no doubts which made him the least hesitant to make the kill. His transformation began when he first met the Halliwells, when he met Phoebe Halliwell. He considered her the ticket for access to the Power of Three and took advantage of her flirtations. Slowly, he realized something; he was falling in lovw with her. This began to change him physically and mentally, making him reflect on his past actions. When he was uncovered to be Belthazor, who was after the Halliwell sisters, Phoebe stuck by him and told him to hide while she lied to her sisters about vanquishing him. Cole spent his time shimmering through dimensions to escape from the hands of the Source. When the coast is clear, he returned to Phoebe. Phoebe accepted him with open arms and was willing to fight for him. The other two sisters, particularly Prue, was wary of his presense and did not trust him. Over time, he began to be accepted and even tried to spy on the Brotherhood for them. His old mentor, Raynor, decievingly pulled an act that would break Cole and Phoebe's bond, leaving Cole hurt. He tried everything to break those feelings, but he realized it wouldn't work. Cole is rebellious and careful yet he has a soft spot for Phoebe. He is a good resource to the Charmed Ones. His powers grew so strong he was presented a chance to be with the Avatars, but he turned down the offer. He kept on going after the Charmed Ones and eventually was vanquished for good by them. |
