Daelyn Ilharess, the Silent Seer of Moraes.

Peace was in her nature, Peace was her intent,
and Peace was the power that compelled her.
She silently offered her misguided people the serenity of understanding.

Background:

Older then most, Daelyn is often thought to be younger because she never gained the physical power those who came after her did. She also disappeared into the sands of time, leaving the world that no longer needed or wanted her until they forgot about her. Her past was long ago forgotten, her family lost to time like so much of Antrippa. But always her younger brother Sinjara stayed in the lands when she herself had fled them.

She was the first, and for many years only follower of the god Moraes, and still does follow him even now that he left the lands. She gave up her wealth, title, family, possessions, even her sight and voice for him. She is rumored to be a seer, but can not control what she does and doesn't see.

When her brother Sinjara left the lands, it seemed to make up Daelyn from her decades long sleep below the desert sands. She took up her once forgotten name again, even if not anything else that went with it.

Personality:

Forgotten to time, she is older then many of the more powerful beings who look down on her for being weak. Alive long before the splitting of the gods, she recalls a time when even Lensmoorians came to her for her wisdom, advice and her ability as a seer. Days long past.

Some might call her a zealot to her cause of becoming pure spirit by renouncing the physical world. Looking like a staved begger, she lives so by choice, mute and all but blind, she strives to one day need nothing but her holy symbol.

Beyond her days of preaching, she has very much become a person who lets things unfold. As a seerer, she has learned she can do nothing to change a persons destiny, they must do it on their own. She can guide, give advice and tell what she knows, but then she knows she must let them decide on their own.

Her focus is on the purity of her spirit, and of those souls around her. She will not try to force them to change anymore, merely often shows her distress at the state of their soul and try to offer guidence if wanted.

With the lose of the god she dedicated everything to, Daelyn has slowly lost hope for her people. She's seen futures that she can do nothing to stop, including her own possible death. Knowing what is coming but unable to do anything has worn at her soul. She seems to care little now for anything.
