Origin of Christian beliefs.

Okay so I've researched a lot of this, read many books, spoke to many people.
and still the only person I've come across that has given me all the more reason to
keep questioning is Katy Mae. I thought I was what some
would call an "atheist", but I'm not so sure....
Atheist: One who denies the existence of God.

Therefore, God exists.
The reasoning for the existence of God as given by Christians can be expessed in a series of short statements
followed by a conclusion. I have spent some time reviewing and condensing the various arguments
for God. Most of the arguments fall into one or more of the argument categories listed below.
If you recognise any new argument, please
E-mail Me and I will add it to the list, giving you credit.
When we see these arguments paraphrased and listed out like this, we see the absurdity of most
of the reasoning and at best some seriously flawed logic and yet Christians still use
these same arguments without recognising those absurdities.

(7) With the truths of these clearly established, surely you agree that Z is true as well?
(8) Atheist: No. So far I have only agreed with X! Where is this going, anyway?
(9) I'm glad we all agree.....

(82) I HAVEN'T AGREED WITH ANYTHING YOU'VE SAID SINCE X! WHERE IS THIS GOING!?
....

I always in my mind believed something existed. Not always necessarily a "god" per say.
My definition of atheist was always "A person who knows the Bible better than a Christian." because
I felt I read the bible so many times and read so much and heard so much that I automatically didn't
believe in "god" or that something out there, when all along it was the bible and what people were telling
me. And that's Blasphemy. I am a sinner. I believe in a higher being just not the bullshit the catholics,
mormons, christians, etc. deem wrong or right. They preach what they are taught and pass it down through
generations of empty minded people who are just looking for The "truth". It's in a REAL BIBLE. No, not a
revised version that teaches of homosexuality, hate, and anger. But a true bible, that speaks of love
compassion, and understanding. I have a bone to pick with the Catholics (sorry to those I offend), many
of my friends follow Catholicism, but I refuse to attend a church or read their King James bible that has
been revised to what THEY think is wrong or right. I don't agree with it. AT ALL! I will not say all
Catholic churches are corrupt on teaching the frail minds of kids, but most, including the mormon church
teach the opinions of the church and not the word of Christ. God and Christ are not hateful, so why teach
and spread word of hate, discrimination, and racism?
Life is a jigsaw puzzle, piecing it together IS the key. I'm not looking into the church for the answers. I'm asking God
to guide me through LIFE to find my pieces to put my puzzle together. I've always followed my heart and even more something
spiritually. It's not that I fully believe other people's theories. They just make me question mine.

Do you think the world is flat too? I am not gay and have no problem with those who are. I can't help but wonder why
people who call themselves christians and follow the word of a man who taught LOVE LOVE LOVE have such HATE for
people that love differently than you. Do you think that a beer drinking, trucking driving, football watching man
just one day wakes up and says, "Hey I am gonna quit my job at the steel mill and become gay".
I went to church religiously every Sunday. I memorized more verses and knew
the stories better than anybody. At home we had devotions every single stinkin' day. We read through the entire Bible every year. This was hard core, old
fashioned religion. If you strip religion of everything man-made then you'll have atheism. That's what happened. Piece by piece my religious world fell apart without me helping it along. And the "perfect christian girl" that I was- was powerless to combat the decay. (And I had always thought that being perfect would hold things together) I was forced to realize that I had a deep dependence in my church and religion. It was my safety, my world. And I was beginning to loathe the stench of it.
Suddenly new thoughts started coming at me from every direction. Books fell in my lap. Random people crossed my path. Situations weasled me into places where I learned about the corrupt/heathen origins of the current common Church and unBiblical teachings commonly taught as Biblical. I was daily challenged to realize that I was emotionally attached to the habit of my christian life. I didn't have a relationship like I said I did. I had a habit and a series of emotional highs. There was no relating involved.
I understand that "faith is incapable of rational demonstration...(therefore, faith) claim(s) must be discarded as irrational and unjustified." I understand that the whole concept of God is just stupid. I understand that God simply cannot exist. And I even believe that- really! Stripped of my religion and my faith, I had atheism. And left to myself, I began to explore a little.
I found something inside myself that had yet to be explained. A faculty, capacity, consciousness---. A connection to something that doesn't fit into reason. A spirituality. An irrationality. It's there. I know it. I didn't believe anything about it for a long time- just took everything with a grain of salt and tried to stay clear headed. After all, I knew this about religions: "Whatever presence or 'being' you seem to have a relationship with...you are defenseless to ever be more satisfied than your every present 'feeling this believing that'" and I knew that I couldn't just chose what to believe in. I wasn't going to make the same mistake twice and believe an irrational claim. Then something came over me and I think it is faith. It was "given" to me- probably because I was seeking. I can't chose to manufacture it. I have faith for something that I know isn't real. I have faith for the area beyond any reasoning capabilities. And that's not all. I was miraculously transplanted into a circle of people who are pretty much in the same place and they can relate to this stuff because many of the same things are happening to them simultaneously and everything is connecting without effort. And there's even more. But I won't give it all away. I just want you all to know that my whole life is changing because it's so really really real in real life. Even though what's behind it is not even compatible with the definition of real.
Technically, I don't believe in God.But God is real- and relatable. way more than feeling and believing. And I got here starting at atheism. And I can't find anything here man-made besides the words we use. How can you guys not have this same capacity? Can you honestly say that you don't? Have you looked? I think you'll find it if you only look. Guys, look.
I'll have you know that I don't go to church, I don't read the Bible, I don't worship, I don't really do anything like that. I drink, I cuss, I'm constantly questioning what I'm doing and if I'm making anything up. I'm so not a Christian. Yet, I think I just might be because I have faith (and not by my own choice, it just came to me- although if I could chose it, I would).
Now I get even more confused...
I went from your proper little christian girl, to a complete athiest, running into
evil, and going back to atheism. And now I don't know what I would call myself...
I still don't go to church... It's not a house of God... Think rational Shan...
"The Kingdom of God is inside you and all around you, not in mansions of wood and stone.
Split a piece of wood and I am there -- lift a stone and you will find me."
I personally believe in a Higher being, GOD, whoever, whatever... I dare not turn
away again. Fuck RELIGION, really. What is the opposite of Religion? Faith! Religion is
just ridiculous anymore... What ever happened to just having faith inside? Do we really
need a book to teach us? A building to learn in? I have faith based upon what I have
lived through and feel inside. Not from who said what, what some words say in a book, ME.
I think if we stripped a lot of the teachings away from the church we'd find more love
rather then the shit our kids learn... to become hateful.
Some claim that the Bible is reliable some say it is crap. So say that the Bible is the most reliable document in history. Some say that it was written 2000 years ago and was fixed by christians to fit their views. Many times people who have gone out to disprove the Bible have turned to become big followers in Christ. Very rarely, or not as many have gone out to disprove the Bible and kept their beliefs. If someone could completely disprove the Bible with no arguments, they destroy the christian belief. "It takes more faith to be an atheist, than it does to have a relationship with God." authors unknown.
I think these new revisions are reliable pieces of crap. My opinion.... -= )
...If the NEW Bible is as reliable as what Christians have
claimed, why are there so many different sections of Christianity?
If you put a Baptist, a Methodist, a Pentecostal, a Catholic, and a
Protestant in the same room, they will all kill each other to prove who's
bible is the real deal....doesn't matter if the publishers name is the same,
to each one of them, it MEANS something different.
So, which one is correct? It's up to YOUR faith to decide. I try to stick
with the older version, before king james, to get the closest
to the real word of christ, i think the Knights Templer and the Egyptians know
more than what they lead us to believe. I don't think any person could handle the
TRUE word. All I can say is, Bibles have been reprinted thousands of times,
at which words have been re-collated millions of times, to mean whatever the next
generation wants them to mean, it's just fucking ridiculous. Read, reasearch, ask God for
guidance in your journey and you will find most of the truth within. and remember LOVE.
Lunar rotation, The Facts.
Why does the moon present the same face to earth all the time. It rotates on its own axis exactly in synchronisation with its orbit around the earth. Thus we never see the opposit side of the moon. How can such perfect synchronisation occur?
Well I'll tell you.
The moon is actually NOT lifeless as "most" people think. The far side of the moon is populated with extremely large animals that closely resemble the giraffes we see here on earth. They are of course very much larger than earth giraffes due to the lower gravity on the moon. They are also completely invisible because their skin immediately transmits light from one side of their body out through the opposite side. Therefore you can only ever see an exact rendition of what is behind them, thus making them appear totally invisible. This sounds odd but evolved as the most effective way to protect them from cosmic rays and the intense UV light on the surface of the moon.
The giant invisible lunar giraffes have a very finely tuned sense of motion, especially angular momentum. They can sense the position and rotation of the moon relative to the earth. This is similar to the sense of balance the inner ear gives to humans.
When they detect a slight variation in the rotation of the moon it causes a sensation like falling. When this happens the giraffes all start running in the opposite direction to the variation. At a predetermined point in time, when all of the moon's giraffes are up to speed, they all immediately come to a dead stop. The momentum of millions of giant giraffes all braking suddenly causes a slight correction to the orbit of the moon thus bringing it back to its synchronised orbital rotation.
This is not a theory, it is known fact, just because some ignorant bozo's don't belive it does not stop it from being true. The people who "Claim" not to believe in the Giant Invisible Lunar Giraffes really hate them, I personally don't understand why they have so much hatred for the Giraffes. The Giraffes are selflessly protecting all humanity from a lunar cataclysm that would destroy the earth and all these people do in return is hate the Giraffes that are saving their miserable lives. You all incorrectly think it's God doing this... But I know the real Truth.
....ha ha ha!
