Blue Hole is a scenic lagoon on Cypress Creek and is a favorite swimming hole for those looking to cool down a little bit in the summer. It costs money to swim, but The Cypress Creek Nature Trail, which is a scenic walk to the Blue Hole, is free and where this box is located. So, find the box then go for a swim, but don't be the last one in!

Directions:

From downtown Wimberley, go east on Old Kyle Road and find the entrance to Cypress Creek Nature Trail next to "In Style Accessories" shop.

Clues:

Walk down the concrete ramp towards the creek to the beginning of a gravel path. Walk 11 steps to a medium tree along the left side of the path. Turn left and walk about 12 steps off trail to the trunk of a large tree growing toward you. The microbox is hanging from a branch about 5 feet from the trunk and about 4 feet high. Please replace as described and be discreet.

NOTE: Always take adequate precautions (such as prodding with a stick and/or wearing gloves) before reaching into dark crevasses and holes in the wild. Before you set out read the waiver of responsibility and disclaimer.
