From deep within the caverns of the Edwards aquifer comes the crystal-clear water that's helped make Lone Star the National Beer of Texas. From 1904 to 2000 it was brewed in San Antonio, so in honor of its long history in that city I have put this microbox there in McAllister Park, San Antonio's largest and most popular city park. It features an extensive network of over 25 miles of trails, some of which are paved and wheelchair-accessible. The park is a favorite of area hiking, biking and running clubs and is a nice oasis in the north side of town. Be sure to also look for Baby Bear's Peanuts Letterbox while in the park.
NOTE: Always take adequate precautions (such as prodding with a stick and/or wearing gloves) before reaching into dark crevasses and holes in the wild. Before you set out read the waiver of responsibility and disclaimer.
