Theodor Seuss Geisel (March 2, 1904 – September 24, 1991) was a famous American writer and cartoonist best known for his classic children's books under the pen name Dr. Seuss. Some of his books include: The Cat in the Hat, Green Eggs and Ham, One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish, Fox in Socks, and How the Grinch Stole Christmas. His books, with his trademark rhyming text and outlandish creatures, have become staples for many children and their parents and I recommend reading all 44 of them. Since he was born in Springfield, MA, I thought it would be appropriate to put this box dedicated to him somewhere in that town. And what better place than the Dr. Seuss National Memorial Sculpture Garden located at The Quadrangle nestled within several museums. It is accessible from 9 till dusk, so come enjoy sculptures of his characters and this box hidden among them.
NOTE: Always take adequate precautions (such as prodding with a stick and/or wearing gloves) before reaching into dark crevasses and holes in the wild. Before you set out read the waiver of responsibility and disclaimer.
