A Kiss From The Sugarplum Fairy Event

This was my tenth Letterboxing Event and it was hosted by Dewberry and Mother Of Five as a Houston area child-focused event featuring a letterbox version of the game Candyland. It was held at Mercer Arboretum in Spring, TX on 12/30/06, and several letterboxers attended despite the cloudy weather. The game was played by following colored markers along various trails to find boxes containing the main characters of the game (e.g. Queen Frostine, Plumpy, etc.). After playing the game there were more boxes to find along a gingerbread man trail, too. Then it was back to the pavilion to eat real goodies. Everyone had a sweet time!
