Brandywine Creek State Park is Delaware's first state park, and also contains Delaware's first two nature preserves: Tulip Tree Woods, and Freshwater Marsh. Altogether there are eight blazed trails on both sides of the water, providing a hiker's paradise. Also, an extensive meadow management program, active bluebird population program, and variety of habitats make the Park an outstanding place to see wildflowers, songbirds, deer and other flora and fauna. So come enjoy nature while looking for this microbox. While here, you can also look for the Future Discovery Road Runner letterbox.
NOTE: Always take adequate precautions (such as prodding with a stick and/or wearing gloves) before reaching into dark crevasses and holes in the wild. Before you set out read the waiver of responsibility and disclaimer.
