PERSONAL APPEARANCES CHRONICLES 99 Richard made his first official appearance at Chronicles 99 with fellow guests Peter Wingfield, Valentine Pelka, Marcus Testory, plus Stan Kirsch & Michael J Jackson on 27/28 February & 1 March 1999. The highlight of this convention was when he joined his 'fellow horsemen' on stage for an hour of madness & mayhem! He discussed Joan of Arc ('The Messenger'), the first rule of great drama and Shakespeare amongst other topics. Richard also did a question and answer session on his own where me mentioned his love of rugby and Leicester Tigers, his appearances on Red Dwarf, Common as Muck & Up N Under and that he was making a couple of CD's for release which is due to his passion for songwriting and music producing. WOLF 359 - LEGACY In November 1999, Richard was surprise guest at the convention at Heathrow near London. He was joined at this event by the main star of the tv series, Adrian Paul plus Alexandra Vandernoot, Peter Hudson and his great pal and again fellow horseman Marcus Testory. If you thought Chronicles was fun, you were in for a treat here when Richard and Marcus bounded on to the stage to the music of the Blues Brothers complete with shades and and trilbys! They took the microphones into the audience so that they could sit next to, close by or on the person asking the question! In this hour he mentioned his recent appearances in Randall & Hopkirk (Deceased) as PC Buns and also that he had filmed a show called 'Nature Boy' where he played an Under Sheriff trying to stop a group of protestors. In addition to this, Richard treated us to a little bit of his very powerful singing voice when he sang 'Swing Low Sweet Chariot'. He seemed to enjoy himself later on in the evening when the beer started flowing too after the convention had officially finished! Needless to say that there were a few sore heads the following morning and a few dodgy photos too! For more details of the great weekend check out the official Wolf 359 - Legacy web page for some of the photos of the event.
