Thought talk summary (courtesy of Ben Matranga): We talked about the theory of Isolationism verse Humanitarianism. Isolationism calls for separation from world affairs and concern for our own well being. Humanitarianism, however, demands that the United States protect human rights not just within its boundaries, but throughout the world. We all agreed that the United States does have a moral obligation to protect global human rights.
