Knowing The Will of God Lesson One Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15 The primary and foundational basis for determining the will of the Lord for an individual's life must always be the Word of God. With that in mind, never forget that generally speaking the will of God may be defined as that holy and stated purpose of the Father to make His dear children as much like Christ as possible. Determining and accomplishing the will of God as an individual is the process by which you attain the spiritual growth and development necessary for you to faithfully and obediently be a living testimony of His mercy and grace given unto you through Christ our Lord and Savior. His will is that we grow in grace 1 Thessalonians 4:3 3. It is His will that we study His word 2 Timothy 3: 14-17 4. It is His will that we share our faith Acts 1:8; I Timothy 1:4; 2 Peter 3:9
