Amanda Siitari was only 16 years she moved from Rauhajärvi to Helsinki. She worked as shopassistent.

She got 1915 married in Finland to a “White Russian army officer” Josif Kreinberger who went to the war. He never returned. Mandi never heard from him again. 

In Cloquet she at first worked as maid. Then she met Jack Mäki. Amanda and Jack lived on the farm near Aadi Siitari and Tyyne and Otto Pöyhönen. Mandi worked in a boarding house-school teachers ate and lived there.
