.:The Wonders of Riven:.

- The improved Riven Gallery -

Dominated by its large golden dome, Temple Island is the first place you step onto once arriving on Riven. Most everything here is a dedication to Gehn's supposed supreme being.

The largest and most beautiful of the islands on Riven, Jungle Island will take you from the lush flora which gave the island its name, to the earthy, organic atmosphere of the Rivenese village.

This relatively small island is situated in the middle of a crater and is home to Gehn's lab. From the mechanics of the boiler room to the engaging curiosity of the small but colourful Ytram, this island holds more secrets than it originally lets on.

Probably the most intriguing and misunderstood island on Riven. Survey Island became Gehn's control centre from where he could keep an eye on the different areas of Riven, from the villagers and Catherine to the unusual and fascinating Wahrk.

The smallest of the islands, the prison is built into a large tree stump which sits on an easily missable rock base. Long since the days when the immense stump resembled a tree, this island is accompanied by some quite remarkable music.

Originally taking the place of Survey Island, the Myst style Garden Island was eventually turned aside, mostly due to the influences of Richard Vander Wende when he joined the Cyan team.

Home to the Moiety, this Age is best known for its bulbous pod-like dome and surrounding canyon walls.

Known to Gehn plainly as Age 233, its dynamic atmosphere and the unique insight into Gehn's life that it provides you with will bring your imagination to a higher plane.
