Gewidmet der Königin Hatschepsut erinnert der Tempel an eine Pyramide mit drei Stufen gen Himmel. Architektonisch besticht dieses Bauwerk durch seinen ungewöhnlichen Stil im Unterschied zu den andern Tempeln. Traurige Berühmtheit erlangte der Tempel 1997 nach einem Massaker an Touristen.
Dedicated to Queen Hatshepsut this temple reminds people of a pyramid with its three levels towards the sky. This monument impresses with its unusual architecture as opposed to the other temples. Sadly the temple became also famous after the 1997 massacre of tourists.
