Mit einer unserer Klassen waren wir gemeinsam zum Iftar am Basar Khan el-Khalili im Restaurant al-Dahhan. Direkt auf dem Vorplatz vor der Hussein-Moschee haben wir mit Hunderten Muslimen das Fasten gebrochen. Iftar ist nämlich das erste Essen nach Sonnenuntergang im Fastenmonat Ramadan.
In one of our classes we went to have Iftar at the Khan el-Khalili bazaar in al-Dahhan restaurant. It is located at the square of al-Husayn Mosque, where we were breaking the fast with hundreds of Muslims. Iftar is the first meal after sunset during the holy month of Ramadan.
