Heading out on the 'inside' track we pass one of the signalling button towers and then the 'turntable line' joins. Northbound here the 5" loco runs on the left which will change ready for the return run as seen in the top photograph on the Southbound track.

The track has been carved out of the bush with a minimum of disturbance to natural vegetation.
