| Sigma Tau Theta was founded on August 18, 1999 on the campus of Prairie View A&M University by 7 undergrads: Angela Barrett, Estelle Stewart, LaShaunda D. Bell, Jarrod Franklin, Vanessa Pears, Brad "Tito" Ruffin, and Kervin Finley. Serving as the advisor for Sigma Tau Theta is Dr. M.G. Hickson and as secondary advisor is Mrs. Vanessa W. Jackson. Ms. Jacqueline Davis is also a very well respected and honorary member of Sigma Tau Theta. |
