March 25, 2008
Hello, Sigmas!  Just a few friendly notes:
The vote for Movie Day is to attend a Saturday evening feature at Mayfaire.  I vote to see 21; please check Mayfaires webpage for choices and times.  Since we are going on Saturday, I dont know whether Fox and Hounds will supply free appetizers; Ill ask them anyway.
We have received the go-ahead for T-shirts from the Sigma Main Office.  Please feel free to submit ideas/designs to [email protected].  The head office of Sigma asks that no STD jokes be used.  The Campus and Activities Office here at UNCW must also approve of our T-shirt design.  I must take it over to their office for their approval.  Once again, I would imagine that certain types of shirt designs might not be approved.  Please let me know whether you are interested in buying a shirt in the future; todays members recommended an online vendor.  Such a vendor would want to know about the size of our order.
Sigma member Wendy Chilcote has some charity proposals for us with regard to the Pampered Chef company.  If we can get approval from Sigmas Main Office, we may wish to try this idea.  She also suggested that Fairy Circle does charity work with regard to clothing donations.  Once again, approval from the Main Office would be needed.
Please consider this e-mail your minutes from todays meeting.  Thank you!
Respectfully submitted,
Dr. Stephanie A. Richardson
Faculty Mentor for Sigma Tau Delta
Feb. 6, 2008:

Hello, Sigmas!  I write the minutes today, as our Secretary could not attend.  The meeting began at 3:30 PM.  Members present were Dr. Stef, President Shawna Blas, member Danielle Woods, and new member Laura Fussell.  We discussed next Wednesdays Valentine Party (3:30-4:30 PM, Faculty Common) and decided that we will get goodies from Apple Annies so that no one has to bring anything.  The Induction Ceremony/Picnic will be held on 29 April, at Halyburton Park, from 2-4 PM.
The meeting adjourned at 4:00 PM.
These minutes are respectfully submitted.
