Sigma Beta Tau was founded on May 1, 1958 by Dr. Frederick Gilsdorf and a goup of men that were willing to make a positive change within their local environment by providing services to needy organizations and its community. The motto set forth by the brothers that started the fraternity in 1958 which is still upheld today was Service, Brotherhood, & Trust. Over the course of the past forty-six years, the fraternity has grown into the greatest body of men that Kean University has seen, filled with the pride of achievement and sincere feelings of warmth found only in Tau Brotherhood. |
