All members of the SIGMA BETA
CLUB takes pride in their community. Through hard work and support
from their community the members of the SIGMA BETA CLUB have adopted
many community service projects. It is always refreshing and reassuring
to see young men doing something positive in the community.

Adopt-A-Mile
The members of the SIGMA BETA CLUB
have joined with many other organizations in and around the Birmingham area
with the "Adopt-A-Mile" project. This project allows organizations
to select a single mile of their own along the Birmingham roads to clean
and maintain. The young brothers of the SIGMA BETA CLUB selected
their mile in the suburbs of Woodlawn on 1st Avenue. Proud of their
accomplishments and dedication, these brothers are keeping their mile one
of the cleanest around.
Car Wash
Fund raisers aren't only about raising
funds. They also show the community that someone cares or wants to
help. The members of the SIGMA BETA CLUB does just that.
They select different locations (such as; Taco Bell, McDonald's, Rally's,
etc.) in the Birmingham area to supply with hands on labor.
Washing cars for donations have proven to be a great project for the SIGMA
BETA CLUB.
Voter Registration
The most important privilege an American
has is the right to Vote. Seeing how important it is for individuals
to vote, the SIGMA BETA CLUB has made it their mission to register
voters in the Birmingham area. With the help of the Eta Epsilon chapter
of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. at the University of Alabama at Birmingham,
the SIGMA BETA CLUB roams the campus signing up students to vote.
Once again, the SIGMA BETA CLUB is making a difference in their community.
