July 19, 2003 - Our alumnae group got together for
lunch and a day of shopping
at the
Carlsbad Company Stores in Carlsbad.

July 3, 2003- Article in the Orange County Register

June 7, 2003 – We gathered in Santa Ana to learn
flower arranging and create flower baskets.

May 8, 2003 – We met to make care packages for our sister collegiate chapter
at Cal State Fullerton
to encourage them for Finals Week. We made individual care packages filled with
a highlighter,
a Sigma Kappa pen, popcorn, granola bars, hot chocolate packets,
cookie packets, chips, and more.

April 10, 2003 - Learning to play BUNKO captured our alumnae group attention in Huntington Beach.
Some were luckier than others, but all had fun talking and
learning.

March 15, 2003 - Sigma Kappa's and their guests enjoyed dessert and
conversation
before attending the musical, The Fantastiks, at the Westminster
Community Theatre.

February 6, 2003 - We unleashed our creativity to make Valentines in Westminster
for our sister collegiate chapter, Epsilon Tau at Cal State
Fullerton.

January 16, 2003 - We learned about the benefits of aroma therapy
and melted away stress with back and neck massage in Westminster.
The program was presented by representatives from California College of the Physical Arts.

December 7, 2002 - West Orange County Sigma Kappa's celebrating Christmas
with an ornament exchange and hors d’oeuvres in Newport Beach.

November 3, 2002 – Founders’ Day was held at the Torrance Hilton.
Some of our group paused at our Violet Boutique table with
National Sigma Kappa President,
Lisa Doughty (blonde in cranberry suit), who came from Illinois to be the featured speaker of this event.

October 20, 2002 - Our alumnae group and families met for a picnic lunch and went to
the Santa Ana Zoo.

October 5, 2002 - We joined with the Epsilon Tau Cal State Fullerton collegians,
as well as the South Orange County and North Orange County Alumnae Groups
to participate in the Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk in Irvine.
The combined Sigma Kappa groups earned more than $4,500 for the
work of the Alzheimer's Association.

September 19, 2002 - We had an Open House in Newport Beach.
We made new Sigma Kappa friends and enjoyed delicious hors
d’oeuvres and fun conversations.
