a round of golf on the 18-hole public course just a few minutes' walk
away, take a canoe trip through the marshlands, hike and birdwatch
on the trails of the nature preserve, or set sail from of one of the many
beaches. Whatever pace you want to set, it's yours for the asking
at this Shelter Island Get-Away.
Enjoy central
air conditioning, the woodburning fireplace, and the hardwood floors
throughout. In addition to that in the livingroom, there are ceiling fans
in all three bedrooms.
Dine inside
or out. Want to take advantage of the weather and the cooling sea
breezes? Then barbeque on the grill provided and eat out on the
patio. Too hot? Stay inside where a wonderful large bay window frames
the dining area to bring the outside in.
You'll never
get on top of each other in this house with so many rooms to spread
out in. Find a secluded corner in the den to watch TV or to sit and read that book you've been dying to get into.
There are three bedrooms, each with its own fan, large closet,
and chest of drawers. The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed and
its own bathroom with both shower and tub. The second bedroom
has a full-sized bed, while the third bedroom has two twin-sized beds.
Including the futon in the den, which sleeps another two people,
the house can sleep a total of eight.
