Kwong Wai Lum

Hung Ga Kung Fu, enriched with hundreds of years of history and tradition, is now passed on through the teachings of Sifu Bill Fong (Kwong Wai Lum).  Sifu Fong is a 4th generation Yap Sut (In-Room) Disciple of Master Yee Chee Wai under legendary Chinese folk hero Wong Fei Hung. As a Southern Siu Lum (Shaolin) Hung Ga Boxing instructor, Sifu Fong has taught many students in the New York/New Jersey area.  He also instructs students in traditional lion and dragon dance which is most commonly performed during Chinese New Year and other special occasions.

While under the tutelage of Master Frank Yee (Yee Chee Wai), he became an accomplished instructor and competitor in martial arts tournaments on regional, national and international levels. Sifu Fong has held the distinction of Deputy Secretary General of the United Kung Fu Federation of North America (1994-95) and has been published in newspapers and magazine articles as well as featured in several cable television shows.  Recently, he was the guest speaker on the New Jersey local cable talk show - "Into the 90's - Traditional Kung Fu into the 90's”.

Sifu Fong has dedicated himself to teach and present only the purest, most traditional Chinese Hung Ga Kung Fu in the United States.  "There is real and authentic Chinese kung fu available in Staten Island/New Jersey...and I will show you and anyone who is sincerely interested in learning a traditional Chinese martial art as passed on in the same spirit as my Sifu and my Grandmasters have done."
