My name is daniel and oh my goodness, how did I do it? It's almost been a month since my last update and it's been a non-stop ride. Eventful, beyond anyone's knowing. And I do mean anyone. Ha! I think that this fact is the beautiful part. Outstanding. Anyway, I've been staying mondo busy, due to school, work, and all of my extra curriculars. It's nuts. Every day out of the week now, I'm going for about 12+ hours straight. It's ridiculous, but it's a whole lot of fun. It's about 2 in the morn' right now and it's also homecoming week. I'm supposed to have my wing decorated by noon, later today. I'm seriously doubting that it will be acheived. I've yet to even get supplies. I'm such a great RA. Not really. I just haven't had any time at all to get this crap done. I'll stay up late tonight if I have to. Ah well, sleep is unnecessary. I'm doing well in school. Right now I should be on target to get somewhere in the neighborhood of four As and two Bs. I'm seriously stoked about that. If I can swing that, then I will know the maximum that I do. I'm anchoring on the news, doing the radio news, working on the yearbook, and getting my articles published in the paper. Today, I was chosen as the Historian for the Society of Professional Journalists. I'm also the Historian for the Multimedia Forum. I'm involved, no doubt. I love it all though. Getting well respected 'round here, at least by the kids. Then again, I never was really trying to impress the higher ups. -daniel written on 10.03.03
My name is daniel and I wish I lived in the year 3000. It's 1.30 a.m. and I'm in my room. I'm killing time, watching Futurama. I just got back at 1.00 a.m. from editing some of my music video. I'm about to hit the sack soon. My day was alright. I got up, got to class late, worked on the news, went to my second class, went to the paper, did the layout for one of the pages, went to play flag football, relaxed a bit, filmed some of my video, relaxed a little more, then went to edit. The Brown Stain lost their game today. It was a rough game. I know that I'm hurting. I fell on my knees and shins so much, it's funny. I did catch the only touchdown pass though. I think that I was also named one of the players of the game. Rock. I've been writing the Intramural columns for the paper, as of late, and I'm hoping that it might increase my chances of getting to referee/umpire future Intramural sports. I love to play, but then again, I love to rule. Heh heh. I hate Advanced Photography. It's so damn ridiculous. The class is only about 50% actual photography. I hate that. The advisor to the newspaper, Tommy Mummert, had his 48th birthday today. We threw him a surprise party in the newsroom. It was a good time. I'm going to die of junk food. I seriously need to get back on my health trip. Anyway, Futurama is almost over and I have to get up early and return my camera early. I shall be back, unless I die or something. Take it easy and keep it unreal. -daniel written on 10.14.03 |

My name is daniel and here's to breaking ties. So, after another long, exhausting week, I sit here in the afternoon, relaxing before my night class. The past three weeks, I have gotten nothing in the area of sleep. I've been too damn busy with my RA shit, class projects, tests, and extra curricular junk. I wake up at 9 or 10 in the morning and get to sleep at about 2 or 3 that night. One of my projects for class was a music video. It rocked the house and wowed my class. I just finished up my latest project this morning. This will be the first crap project that I will have turned in. Another recent happening for me is seeing Bad Boy Bill. It was better than Oakenfold and I would even venture to say that it was better than BT. Sounds like blasphemy, but, it's quite possibly true. I just got back from class and I don't even care how I did on this project. I'm so glad to have it done. My advanced photography class has not been fun, for some time now. I'm just having myself a bad day today. They don't come too often, but, this is one of them. Ah well, so, I'm human after all. I've pushed my earlobes out to 9/16" now. They are getting quite huge. I'm digging it though. Well, I need to go and do something that will enlighten me, so, I'm out for now. Take it easy and keep it unreal. -daniel Go Blues! written on 10.23.03

My name is daniel and I have no time at all. I am on duty right now and I really wish that I weren't. I'm just not feeling up for it. I'd rather be out, getting my hair dyed a new color, which was going to happen. But, since I'm on duty tonight, I won't be. I finished Culture Jam today. It's a book by Kalle Lasn, the founder of Adbusters magazine. He is a wise man. Anyway, I've now moved onto another book that I own, called The Culture of Fear. I've been reading this one for awhile. I've just put off finishing it for so long. The time to read it is now. I also learned the difference between communism and fascism today. I was stoked about that. I'm stoked about tomorrow and wednesday. I may get to be televised on the news tomorrow and on wednesday, the paper comes out. I should have something like three articles/stories in it. That will be a cool thing. I'm missing my Family Guy and Futurama right now. I'm highly disappointed. I barely get to see them during the week. So, I ordered a record from Dancerecords.com the other day. FedEx, for some reason, can't deliver packages to a P.O. Box. So, I get a call, asking me where to deliver it. I tell them to bring it to 501 "O" Street, at Brown Hall. That was on saturday. I tracked my package today to find out that it was delivered "successfully," somehow, and it was signed for by some random person. I'm royally pissed at FedEx right now. It was a good track too. "Freeloader" by Driftwood. -daniel written on 10.06.03

My name is daniel and welcome to this groove. First off, it's nice to have Chris Pronger back. If he can stay healthy, as well as the rest of the St. Louis Blues, this is THE year. Anyway, tonight I am on duty and in pain. I am on duty because I'm a nice guy. I'm in pain because I played flag football today. The Brown Stain went into quintuple overtime against the House of Paine. I am proud to say that I was a help to the team today. I made about 6 receptions, one for a touchdown. So, I'm stoked about that. We ended up winning 51-49. It was nice. We have to play the #1 seeded team today. (I am madly in love with Lisa Lightner and she's in love with me because I'm Superman. She can be my Lois Lane any day of the week. Hee hee.) I love me some Sealab 2021. It's pure genius. Grizzlebee's!!! Heh heh. My hair is black now. I was just tiring of the whole nasty looking yellow. So, I'm still doing the Journalism thing. I'm still on the tv, radio, in the paper, and still on the yearbook. It's all very good and nice, nice and good. I got my photography project back and I made a 100 on it. I'm quite stoked about this as well. I have a music video due on Thursday and I haven't started yet. I'm not really too worried about it though. I'm using the track "The Sound of Goodbye" by Perpetuous Dreamer. I'm going to try and get it completely done tomorrow. I think that it can be done. Anyway, it's late and I should probably sleep. Take it easy and keep it unreal. -daniel written on 10.13.03
