| My name is daniel and it's straight up been awhile. So, the semester is coming to a close, and the finals are upon myself. I have to take two of them, at the moment. My Thanksgiving break was unreal. I put over 1500 miles on my car, I saw some old friends, made some new ones, and I met Paul Oakenfold. It was f***ing rada**. I got to shake the man's hand, get his autograph, and talk with him the slightest bit. His set was f***ing awesome. And, let me tell you, that is just the understatement of the year. The club where it was at sucked, but, I really wasn't minding at the time. Jumping up and down to the beat, Oakenfold looking out over the crowd, pointing at me. F***ing cool. Plain and simple. That was simply the high point of my entire life. The vibe was just surreal. Anyway, I'm just sitting here in the library, listening to some music straight out tha' metropolis of Chicago. It's great as well. DJ 69 is rockin'. Two of my friends got married, back on the 26th too. That was a trip. Speaking of which, I need to get those pics developed because Patrick messed up his roll. 'Tis a shame. Heh heh heh. He shall receive non-stop harassment for that one. I still love 'em though. Well, I suppose that is all that I have for now. I hope that you're all able to take it easy and that you had a totally cres thanksgiving break. The x-mas break is almost here. Keep it unreal. -daniel written on 12.04.02 |
My name is daniel and I have yet another love, jonesin'. A person that loathes so much, can only want one thing, and they know that it can't be had. Oh well, onto the fun. I went to the Welton show last night, at Vino's, and I must say that it was rockin'. It may not have been as good as their last show in tha' Fort, but, t'was a good show. They played all new stuff and it was high energy, as always. The crowd down there really didn't know how to rock out, so, they were all sitting down, instead of crowding the stage. The time after the show was interesting as well. Gin was played, beer was drank, and pizza was eaten. I only did one of those things though. Still a good time though. I'm hoping to get to come back down to Russellville over the break and spin with Laura and some people she knows. Her boyfriend is apparently really good and she knows some DJs that can scratch like it's no one's business. Plus, I'm going to be over at Emil and Jacqulyn's home a bit too. I gotta say that I wasn't as impressed by Vino's as I thought I was going to be. The stage itself was cool, but, the sound system was lacking. You couldn't get close to the stage and hear the vocals. It was totally whack. My finals are coming up soon, so, I suppose that I'll get back to at least pretending to study. Take it mucho easy and I'll catch ya' on tha' flip side. Baby dangling can be fun. Just ask Whacko Jacko. Keep it unreal. -daniel written on 12.07.02 |

| My name is daniel and my pipe is aflame. Here, I'm comin' at ya' from from down unda'. Well, if you associate "down under" with "sub-par," then I guess that Brown Hall would be accurate. I love it though. Well, this thing just screwed me over because I had a complete "column," if you will, written out, then it decided to close all of my Internet Explorer programs. Such a lovely thing this technology is, no? Anyway, I think that I should have said something about how I got a pipe for x-mas, from Pidge, Ross, Danny, and myself made fun of Pidge on the radio, Pidge can't smoke a pipe correctly, Pidge isn't that great at Red Faction 2, and the list could go on. The reason that the song of the month is what it is, is because Paul Oakenfold mixed this into his set, in Little Rock. I knew that I had heard the sound before and I found it one day, on my Underwater Disc 2. I was playing that on the radio back on Tuesday and I had my gurl Laura calling me up in tha' studio, telling me how rockin' tha' album was. I appreciated the call. I had my last show of the semester last night. I played my "Limelight" cd, mixed by DJ Gonzo. That s*** was straight blowin' up. I love it. I then interviewed Pidge, Ross, and Danny. It was good times, all around. I shall be attending a Welton show tonight and I'm looking forward to it. The lack of school for me is exhiliarating. Finals loom. Keep it unreal. -daniel written on 12.06.02 |

| My name is daniel and I rocked my final's a**. My first of two finals was today and I aced that mofo. Algebra can kiss my sorry a**. I'm looking forward to a fun-filled week though. Crosstrails and Idiom are playing on Thursday and Friday and I'm looking forward to it. I have yet to see the new Crosstrails perform, since the addition of my good buddy Aaron, but I'm anxiously looking forward to it. The Peluso family, from Fort Smith, is totally nice. So polite, they are. I just thought that I would throw that out there. Heh heh. I had myself a totally nasty tomato in the Caf tonight. Not in season at all. The Ryksopp fever is catching on down here at Tech. The people are digging on it and it is plentiful. We had our Midhnigt Bash last night, down at the Student Center where much fun was had. There was mini basketball, karaoke, air hockey, pool, pizza, donuts, coffee, dominoes, uno, phase 10, canasta, and a big screen tv. I got my picture taken with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Things got frisky between Mrs. Claus and myself, and needless to say, Santa wasn't a happy camper. Well, Santa and his red Converse All-Stars can just find a spoon. Regardless, I had a rockin' time, I beat Becky at the basketball, redeeming myself. It felt good too. I feel like a big man beating the s*** out of a girl at something. OH YEAH!!! Alrighty, well, I'll lose access to a cable modem soon, so, perhaps no updates for awhile. Peace. -daniel written on 12.09.02 |
