Indoor Jungle
Some years back, the people at my floor decided our plain light-blue-and-white hallway was a bit clinical and, frankly, too darn boring. We needed a decor for a themed party anyway, so this is what we decided on. Wouldn't want it in a private home, but for a student home hallway it's very O.K. It's also what inspired me to name this page "Graffiti" in the first place.
Panda Angry orange snake
This is what I see every time I open my door. I think it's supposed to be a panda. Looks more like a clinically depressed cow-spotted bulldog to me, but hey. The panda's neighbour. Might be why it's clinically depressed. This one looks permanently annoyed.
Purple snake Blue snake
Happy orange snake Pink snake
The rest of my collection of snakes. These all look happy. I think even the purple one is, even though it isn't smiling. Looks surprised, if anything.
Chameleon Lizard
Should you enter our hallway from outside and look to your left immediately, you see this chameleon. Needless to say most people miss it. This lizard is located in the middle (to the left of my door, to be precise) so it's harder to miss. It's freaking huge, as well.
Flamingo Toucan
Next to room no. 2, this is a favorite image for most of us. Including me. Don't know why, exactly. Maybe because it oozes the perfect mixture of sleepiness and snobbiness. Our toucan. Love the size of the beak.
Raven Parrot
The sinister raven. It marks the ending of the jungle hallway. The colour on the right is what the top half of the entire wall used to be. See why we changed it? One of three, basically identical but for their angular orientation, parrots.
Butterfly Anteater
The one and only insect. Love, love, love this one.
Tiger Elephant
The reason we know this is a tiger and not any other member of the feline family is the stripes on the tail, which unfortunately was located too far away to be included in this picture. A purple shadow of an elephant. The elephant itself is nowhere to be found. Or maybe this is an elephant with no details because it's standing in the shadows.
