Sierra Pest Control is based in
For a more unorganized list
of our services: Tree spraying,
weed spraying, yard spraying, and bug spraying. They treat for beetles, unwanted pests,
ants, grubs, earwigs, mistletoe, and just about any insect, fungus, or unwanted
non-vertebrate. Trees we care for
include but are not limited to: Oak, Pine, Leland Cypress, Italian Cypress,
Cedar, Mulberry, Ponderosa Pine, Monterey Pine, Black Oak, Blue Oak, White Oak,
Valley Oak, California Oak, Golden Oak, Fruit, Nut, Liquid Amber, Maple,
Flowering Plum, Olive, Fir. Most of
the time when we spray for weeds it is for large areas around houses, where
people would rather not weed-eat.
However we often apply pre-emergent to landscaped areas multiple times a
year to help keep rid of pesky weeds.
We are grateful for Oak Worms and the business they send our way; we
have many customers who do not appreciate the silk worm webs, defecation, and
mess the worms make out of their trees and everything underneath. We commonly use Roundup, or round-up or
round up, to take care of weeds along with a preemergent. For ants we used to prefer Dursban, but now use Termidor
when nothing else will work. We
prefer the name brand to avoid the hassle of adding a surfactant or
spreader. Poison Oak, poisonoak, or poison-oak is one our favorites to take care
of; our experience has taught us the most effective and quickest way to be rid
of the nasty plant permanently.
Blackberries, black berries, black-berries are also easy for us to
control. We spray for small
businesses, corporations, property management companies, property managers,
landlords, apartment complexes, rental units, home-owner associations, home
owner associations, road associations, and individual homeowners.
Sierra Pest Control has two
employees who work too hard for how little they get paid. Chris Mavy and Sam Roskelley have been
in business for too long to know just when they began.
