THE WALL

Often wondered about the glory
About fifty-eight thousand men
And their story
Who gave to their country
On another land
Who fought and died and made a stand
To come home and be ignored
To say We didn't fight a War
To wait twenty years to be realized
That the fifty-eight thousand Who really died
Were brothers, fathers, family, and friends
To prisoners of War, Whose War never ends
To MIA's We know nothing about
Should make folks back home to talk
No Shout
To bring them back and bring an end to it all
So till then. We Wart and constructed a Wall
To honor the fifty-eight thousand
Whose family have cried
Gone through the healing and forgetting it all
A note is left saying " Not Enough had Died".....
