Clarence is a puppet made from a skunk skin I traded for about 4 years ago. The kids love him and I have had some really wild reactions when bringing him out of a bag when no one knew he was there. He was a hit at the local chili cook-off  last year. I think because our group, The Miller Gang, named our chili entry, "45 Caliber Road Kill Chili".

I have been lucky enough to have some good friends in  my life. And I would like to take just a minute to say great big "Thank You" to all of you who have given me these pictures.

In addition to loving to do my Cowboy Poetry, the wife and I do "living history". This picture was taken at the "Chisholm Trail Festival" here in Yukon, Oklahoma in 1999. For the three days ( Thursday night  through Sunday night ) of the festival, we eat, dress, live, and act the 1860 cattle drive period. Also in this photograph are members of the "Miller Gang", camp guest, and "Buddy the Cow Dog".
