Carter is sitting at the kitchen table reading the newspaper and drinking some coffee when Lucy enters.
Carter: Well good afternoon.
Lucy: Afternoon!! Oh my god I slept that long why didnt you wake.
Carter: I only just woke up myself.
Lucy: What time do you need to be at work?
Carter: 7pm to 7am.
Lucy: So you will be coming home when Im coming in.
Carter: Yeah..
Lucy: Are you going to tell anyone the wedding date?
Carter: I thought you would want to tell them together.
Lucy: Are you sure you can wait until we work together again? It will be a while.
Carter: Sure.. How long will it be?
Lucy: 4 Days....
Carter: What why so long?
Lucy: Yeah you work until 7am and I come in. I work until 3pm and then you come in. Then Im off Wednesday.
Carter: Thats right you have your final exam Wednesday.
Lucy: Yep and Im scared shitless.
Carter: Youll do great.
Lucy: Im glad you think so because Im not.
Carter: You want me to help you study at all.
Lucy: When will there be anytime?
Carter: Now might be a good start.
Lucy: Do you really want to study now?
Carter: No I would really rather rip your clothes off and lay you down on the table and make love to you.

Lucy: (Answering the phone ) Hello.
Weaver: ( On the Line ) Lucy I need you to come in with John tonight Luka is out sick. So Im down a doc.
Lucy: Dr. Weaver I really need to do some studying my exams are on Wednesday.
Weaver: Please Lucy you can bring your books here and study during breaks.
Lucy: Fine, but you will need to get someone to cover my 3-11 shift tomorrow.

Lucy hangs up with Weaver and stops making something to eat. She heads upstairs t get ready for work.

Carter: Oh so thats why you said yes.
Lucy: I couldnt think of a better reason.
Carter: Well I guess we could tell everyone the wedding date now.

Carter: Yeah Im going to ask Peter. What about you?
Lucy: Well I want to ask Carol to be my maid of honor.
Carter: Im sure she will be happy too.
Lucy: Yeah she is really the only person I can consider a friend.
Carter: Yeah I know how you feel even though Benton is a hard ass with me.
He still is the only one I would say is my friend he knows everything about me.
Carter washes Lucy back they finish with their shower and get ready for work.

Mark: Hey Carter I have a patient for you. I know you just walked in but, I have a meeting to go to for about a hour.
Carter: Ok. Whos here now?
Mark: Malucci, Chen, Lucy and you. Kerry well be at the meeting to. If you have any problems.....
Carter: I'll have you page.
As Mark gives Carter a quick run of the board. Mark leaves to go to the meeting.
Lucy: Since Luka is not here I guess I should come to you.
Carter: What do you have?
Lucy: 50 year old man complains of back pains and mid chest pains. ( Handing him the chart )
Carter: Sounds like it could be the Gall Bladder.
Lucy: Thats what I was thinking. So Ill get a chem7 CBC and an ultra sound.
Carter: See I told you not to worry about anything you will do fine with your exam.
Lucy: Thanks..... I still scared.
Making her way to her patient, but walking in on the last thing she didnt want to.
Malucci: Order chem7, cbc and get the ultra sound im here.
Lucy: What are you doing?
Malucci: Taking care of this patient.
As Malucci walks out Lucy follows.
Lucy: That was my patient.
Malucci: You werent in there.
Lucy: I was talking with Carter.
Malucci: Well if your going to chit chat with your boyfriend its not my fault.
Lucy: I wasnt chit chatting I was consulting with him about the patient.
Just then Carter enters the hall were Lucy is yelling at Malucci.
Lucy: Didnt you check the board?
Malucci: I was there and just thought.
Lucy: No Dave thats just it you dont think.
Malucci: Hey I didnt sleep with you last night so dont be pissed at me.
Carter: What the hell is going on?
Malucci: John your women had a bug up her ass.

Carter: No I want to know what he met by that.
Lucy: John just drop it. ( Pulling him away )
Malucci: Yes John listen to the little women and just drop it.

Carter: No Dave not when your not being funny.

Just then Carter draws back and gives Dave a punch in the face.

Lucy: ( Looking at Dave ) Are you ok?
Carter: Yeah Im fine.
Lucy: Carol can you take care of Dave.
Carol: What happen?
Lucy: Ask Dave Im sure hell fill you in. ( Going to find Carter ) Jerry did you see Carter.

Deb: He went in the lounge and looked pissed.

As Carter goes to tell Dave sorry he turns to tell Lucy something.

As Carter leaves the room Carol goes out to ask him something.
Carol: Hey John have you and Lucy set a date for the wedding.
Carter: Yeah
Carol: Well what is it?
Carter: Well tell everyone later.
Carter walks away to go check the board.

Mark: Yeah sorry it took so long. How is everything here?
Carter: Good....
Mark: Thats what I like to hear.
Carter: Well I have a patient to check on.
Mark: Hey Carter have you and Lucy set a date?
Carter: Yeah Lucy and I will tell everyone soon.
Carter goes to check on his patient.
Sometime laps and Lucy is checking on a patient getting ready to release them.
Lucy: Ok Mrs. Cobb Ill have the nurse take your IV out then you can go
home. Get this medicine fill and you should feel better. If your fever get higher or you start feeling worse come back in.
Mrs. Cobb: Thank you
Lucy: Carol you can release Mrs. Cobb.
Carol: Ok.... Hey John said you guys set the date.
Lucy: Did he tell you?
Carol: No..
Lucy: Ok... ( She walks away )
Carol: Well what is it?
Lucy: Youll find out soon enough.
Carol: Fine Ill wait......
Lucy is at the desk finishing with some chats.
Some time laps and Lucy and Carter are just about ready to leave.

Carol: Well they did , but they wont tell anyone the date.
Mark: Come on we are all here. What is the date?
Carter: They are not going to let us rest until we tell the date.
Lucy: Yeah I guess your right.
With everyone waiting to her what the date is Lucy starts talking.
Lucy: Ok it took sometime for us to fine the prefect date, but well finally agreed on the date.
Carter: Yeah we were up all night trying to decide.......
Lucy: And since we were having an outside wedding we had some idea what month it would be......
Carter: And since........
Carol: Damn it you two stop that and just tell us the date.
Lucy: I guess we kept them waiting long enough.
Carter: Yeah , but it wasnt easy coming up with the date.
Everyone: Whats the date?
Lucy: You all need to keep....... April 24th open.
Carol: That will be nice…
Everyone: congratulations guys....
Lucy and Carter: Thanks.......
While everyone is hugging Carter and Lucy giving them their congratulations Lucy goes into the lounge.

Carol and Lucy hug. Just then Carter enters.
Carter: Ready Luce.
Lucy: Yeah...
Carol: Good night guys.
Carter: Good night Carol.
Lucy: Bye Carol and thanks.
Carol leaves to go home.
Carter: She said yes.

Carter: Ill talk to Peter tomorrow.
