In the beginning I bought a couple of ringed teals and a couple of mandarins.
Because the breeding results were good right from the start, my collection expanded soon. At the moment I have about twenty-four couples.
In 1998 I became a member of 'De Korhaan', which is a local department of Aviornis International. In 2000 I became regional editor of this association. Now and then I write an article for the magazine of Aviornis. Since june 2003 I'm the secretary of 'De Korhaan'.
The purpose of this homepage is to show as many pictures as possible. Because there is already a lot of information about ducks on the net, I've tried to limit this to a minimum. The information you find here was gathered by lecture and observation. I do not claim that everything is scientifically correct. I only would like to share my experiences.
At this moment (24/01/05) this page is not yet completed. I hope to be able to show even more pictures in the future.
