PARIS, 15 JUL 06 -- Anggun has just released her latest single, Juste Avant Toi/I'll be Alright recently. The single will be included in the forthcoming repackaged album. The video was shot in Jakarta and Bali last May and features extracts from her Indonesian concert.
Saviour clip banned in Indonesia
JAKARTA, 24 APR 06 -- The videoclip for Saviour, the english version of Anggun's single "Cesse La Pluie" was recently banned by Indonesian TV stations. The ban was made prior to the upcoming Porn Bill of Indonesia which forbid female performers to perform in bare shoulders or any body parts exposed as well as the inclusive of pornographic elements and nudity.
Female Indonesian artists who failed to comply with this rule wil be prosecuted for indecency and could be jailed or fined up to 2 billion rupiah. Although the video did not make it on Indonesian household TV screen, it will be shown during her upcoming concert. PARIS, 24 APR 06 -- BMG-Sony Music France and its subsidiary, VOGUE are proud to announce the re-release of LUMINESCENCE. The re-package edition features additional tracks and a new single, Juste Avant Toi, which has been airplayed since 12th of April on French radios. The album is scheduled for release this summer. Earlier, Anggun has officially moved from Heben Music to Vogue Music on reason to strengthen her international career.
LUMINESCENCE goes PLATINUM
JAKARTA, 24 APR 06 -- Anggun's latest album LUMINESCENCE was certified platinum after 50 000 copies were snapped in Indonesia alone. The award was presented to Anggun by Universal Music Indonesia executive, Mr. Anthony during the press conference in conjunction with her promotional visit here.
Anggun Live in Jakarta
JAKARTA, 24 APR 06 -- Anggun returns to Jakarta this May for a one-night only concert. The concert, KONSER UNTUK NEGERI or the Homeland Concert will be held at the Plenary Hall of Jakarta Convention Center on the 25th of May, 8.00 p.m. and conceptualized by artist Jay Subiyakto. The artist was in Jakarta recently to promote her new album, LUMINESCENCE. The concert also feature Indonesian musicians who will collaborate with Anggun on her Indonesian hits. Ticket prices starts at RP750 000 for VIP seats to 150 000 for Festival seats.
Anggun in South East Asia
KUALA LUMPUR, 21 SEP 05 -- Anggun will return to South East Asia from 26th September to 2nd October. The first stop will be her homeland Indonesia, where the singer will appear at MTV Indonesia Music Awards and Anugerah Musik Indonesia. The Javanese princess will also conduct several interviews with MTV Asia and Rolling Stones, followed by the launching of Audemars Piguet's first boutique in Jakarta. Schedule for Malaysia and the rest of South East Asia is yet to be obtained.
LUMINESCENCE Available Now
KUALA LUMPUR, 21 SEP 05 -- The much anticipated album, LUMINESCENCE has finally reached most music stores in Malaysia. The album was supposed to be on shelves last August but due to some logistic circumstances, the shipment of the album to stores outside Klang Valley proceeded only early this month. Anyway, the album was selling like hot cakes in Tower Records KLCC. Meanwhile, in Indonesia, Luminescence has reached GOLD status recently.
CESSE LA PLUIE as the official theme of Le Transporteur II
PARIS, 04 JUL 05 -- Cesse La Pluie was chosen as the official single for the upcoming action movie, Le Transporteur 2 or The Transporter 2 for English version. The single, taken from Anggun's latest effort, Luminescence also gained #1 spot on the Palmares International chart in France. The movie, to be released in August will also feature the English version of the single, called Saviour for US and English release, while the Indonesian version, called Mantra is for Asian release in October.

PARIS, 04 JUL 05 --Anggun fans in Asia will be contented with the release of LUMINESCENCE, the most anticipated album.
