My overview of the song is that this song is about the saving powers of Jesus Christ.

I would like to call your attention to the first stanza. Here, we have "Mr Suave" talking to us. We to have some problems, as suggested by the acts of daydreaming or wishful thinking. Mr Suave then goes on to say that he would like to make us smile and to take away our pains.

The second stanza then goes to affirm Mr Suave' s unconditional love. Who else has THE GREATEST LOVE OF ALL, you follow?

The chorus, of course, affirms the power and strength of Mr Suave.

The song finshes with affirmation from "Mr Suave" to lay down all our problems and burdens upon him. He even encourages us to "huwag mag-alinlangan at lumapit sa akin" which in english translates to "don't hesitate to approach me", remeniscent of "ask and it shall be given".

Thus, I conclude, that Mr Suave is actually an uplifting song about salvation. It promises hope and happiness in the Right Path.
