I bought this car in October 2001. It is a pleasure to drive. Since I got it I have put a Pioneer CD/Tuner in, Sony 6x9's in the front and rear doors and a Sony Explod Sub in the back under the load cover. I put the 15nch wheels on with 195/60/15 on the front and 205/55/15 on the back. It handles a lot better and still gives a comfortable ride as I do about 450 miles a week. It has done 118,000 miles and the engine is very good. It gets an oil & filter change every 6-8 weeks and starts on the first turn of the key. All in all an excellent all round car, good handling, good fuel economy and very practical. I never thought I would ever say this but it is a pleasure to own one. (I must be getting old)

While parked ouside a customers house, his wife said that she was going out. As my car was parked close to hers I asked if she would like me to move mine. She said "No, it's alright, mines a jeep, I can always drive over yours, Ha Ha". OK I thought. Next thing I hear is crunch! I look out of the window and she has hit my car with her Suzuki Vitara. Her husband (traffic policeman) cannot believe it, especially after what she just said and couldn't stop saying sorry. She was cherry red and very silent. The insurance will sort it out I know, but I hate any damage done to my car. I must be a jinx. My last car (Escort Estate1.8D Money Pit) was hit by a council worker on his ride on lawnmower while I was with a customer. It caved the drivers door and wing to the tune of �600. I love my Mondy
