Life is in the blood (But flesh with the life, which is in the blood you shall not eat Genesis 9:4). When a person dies, his blood gets congealed but in the case of Jesus we see that even after Jesus gave up His spirit and died on the cross, blood and water gushed out of His side."Instead one of the soldiers pierced Jesus' side with a spear bringing a a sudden flow of blood and water". (John 19:34)
When I received this little booklet and read it, I got so excited that a friend of mine and I sat up one night and started singing songs on the Blood of Jesus and washing each and everyone of our church members in the Blood of Jesus. We did this in simple faith, not knowing what an effect it would have on the church members and church service. I have to tell you that the next morning our service was glorious, like heaven on earth. There was the tangible presence of God. For without our knowledge as we pleaded the Blood of Jesus on each church member the Holy Spirit was waking them up during the night and making them confess their sins. This is true, because the pastor's wife testified to us that the Lord woke her up and would not allow her to sleep till she confessed her sins.
I remember when my 4 year old son was playing with a metal hanger, it pierced his eye and he was bleeding, at that time I was in the yard hanging out the washed clothes. I heard my husband scream and tell me that the child was hurt. I was about to say "serve him right for he is always up to mischief" but instead I opened my mouth and said "Praise God". Immediately afterwards my inner eyes was opened and I saw the walls of Jericho falling down and the Red Sea parting, these two awesome scenes set my faith soaring so when I entered the house and saw my son's state I did not fear or panic, instead I placed him on my lap and began to pray and plead the Blood of Jesus on his eyes through faith, immediately the child stopped crying and went into a deep sleep and when he awoke up, which was late in the night, his eye was in good condition. Praise God! What a miracle working God we serve!
The next time I witnessed a miracle was when I put my hand into a big cooking range to check if the cakes were ready and voila due to the heat my hand got burnt and turned pink and I got the smell of burnt hair, since the pain was so bad and I could not think properly, I began to plead the Blood of Jesus on my hand and it returned to it's normal colour and the pain disappeared.
There was a time when I felt birth pangs and I was not pregnant I began to groan and roll on the floor in pain crying out to the Lord and praying in the spirit, all I kept saying was "Lord, there is power in your Blood and wherever I plead Your Blood there is life." Then I called my brother's name and started pleading the Blood of Jesus on him from the crown of his head to the soles of his feet. Little did I know that while the Lord gave me such a burden for him that I began to utter some strange sounds and grunts that 100's of miles away my brother hanged himself from a ceiling fan and was dead for some time, but Praise God who is the Author and Finisher of everything and is able to see everything; for His eyes move to an fro over all the earth. He caused me to pray and plead the Blood of Jesus on my brother and today I am pleased to say that my brother is a born-again Christian and working in a christian organisation along with his wife. Jesus is ALIVE and able to perform miracles through us, if we submit to Him, and believe that nothing is IMPOSSIBLE with Him. He can even bring the dead back to life, if it is not their time to leave this earth, or if He (God) wants to reveal His power over death.
Now for another awesome miracle. I suffered from multiple aneurysm and fell dead in a friend's house, there was a neurosurgeon who witnessed what happened because we were having lunch together. He checked my pulse and pronounced me dead, seeing my children gape in shock my friends picked up my dead weight and took me to the hospital and since they had taken my dead corpse to the hospital the staff wanted to put me in the mortuary but my friends did not allow it. By that time most of the church members had gathered in the hospital not to cry or weep but they began praising and worshiping Jesus right there in the hospital and after a couple of hours my pulse returned and they were able to take a scan which showed several blood vessels in my brain behind my right eye had burst and I was bleeding.
Since the operation was of a very delicate nature and there was no proper facilities I was transported to another hospital some miles away. Normally the surgeon operates his own private patients first and then on outsiders and because I had come from another hospital there were some technical formalities but my Jesus saw me through and the doctor attended on me before his own patients.
Prior to the operation the neurosurgeon told my husband that even if the operation were a success, I would either be a vegetable for life, or paralysed or blind in one eye. My friends encouraged the doctor to perform the operation while they prayed, besides my friends in the hospital my pastor in my home church also prayed till he got a word of knowledge that I had come back to life so while prayers were offered by my friends and Christian churches across the globe the delicate operation was performed and clips were inserted to reconnect the blood vessels that had ruptured and praise God I am Alive once more.
During my period of rest which was approximately one year, I could not remember the people around me as I was heavily sedated. During the periods I was awake which was mostly during the night I would cry out to God and try to pray, but I could not remember any Scripture. I used to feel very frustrated. About this time the sly old devil would come in different shapes and try to frighten me. I would try to call out for help but words would not come forth, all I could remember and say was Blood of Jesus and immediately the devil would leave. Yes, the devil is so scared when we speak about the Blood of Jesus, because he cannot stand the Blood of Jesus as it reminds him of his defeat at the cross of Calvary and he tries to stop churches from singing or talking about the blood of Jesus. Revelation12:11 says "And they (we) overcome him (devil) by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their (our) testimony.
You might ask , "What does it have to do with the Blood of Jesus?". Well, ever since I got born-again I have always sung and confessed about the Blood of Jesus. This has been my confession, "I shall not die but live and declare the works of the Lord", I am covered and cleansed with the Blood of Jesus. When I speak about the Blood of Jesus, I can picture the fountain of Jesus' Blood gushing over me, I do not see congealed blood, but I see rich radiant blood gushing like a fountain.
Dear friend, I want to tell you that there is tremendous power in the Blood of Jesus, we can go in faith confess our sins to Jesus and ask Him to forgive and wash us in His Blood and He will, because although Jesus suffered a humilating death by being nailed to the cross at calvary, yet we read in John 19:34 "Then one of the soldiers pierced Jesus' side with a spear, bringing a sudden flow of blood and water". Why? Because Jesus Christ bought the church with His Blood. Acts 20:28 tells us, "take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over which the Holy Ghost has made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which HE HAS PURCHASED WITH HIS OWN BLOOD."

1 John 1:7 says "But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from ALL SIN"
Colossians 1:14 says "In whom we have redemption through His blood, even the FORGIVENESS OF SINS."
Ephesians 1:7 says "In whom we have redemption through His blood, the FORGIVENESS OF SINS, according to the riches of His grace."
Hebrews 9:22 says "And almost all things are by the law purged with blood, and without shedding of blood there is NO REMISSION."
Exodus 24:6 says "And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which the Lord has made with you concerning all these words. "
Hebrews 13:20 says "Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep through the blood of the everlasting covenant."
Hebrew 9:14 says "How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?"
Mathew 26:28 says "For this is My blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the REMISSION OF SINS."
1 Peter 1 :18-19 says "For as much as you know that you were redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers. But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb WITHOUT BLEMISH AND WITHOUT SPOT".
Ephesians 2:13 says "But now in Christ Jesus YOU WHO ONCE WERE FAR AWAY HAVE BEEN BROUGHT NEAR THROUGH THE BLOOD OF CHRIST."
Hebrew 13:12 says "And so Jesus also suffered outside the city gate to make the people holy through His blood, His own blood."
