Exams!

"Ye shall be the head and not the tail" (Deutoronomy 28: 13)
I thank God for His mercies, grace and blessings towards me. On June 1st 2005,  I received my Bachelor results and was found to top the university. When people ask me how I managed all I say is seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be added unto you(Matthew 6: 33). When you give God His rightful place Hell only bless you and His promise will come true His promise that says I will make you head and not tail(Deutoronomy 28: 13). I was never studious, Ive always been an average student, infact this is the first time Ive ever seen a rank in my life and during those 3 years of college I was never top, I have no idea how at the last year I bagged over all first its just amazing on how God blesses those who are His. Well, we have Bible studies, prayer meeting and Sunday service at home, dad being a missionary, and I made sure I never missed any of those classes. Well it is true there were questions as to whether this will help me especially when my friends all sit and study while I attend meetings, I never knew the reward till it came. I recollect my little brother saying Chech, I think the university has made a mistake. Even, my family couldnt believe, my friends couldnt believe, infact they were all jumping and being happy for me while I stood there expressionless all I could say was Thank you Lord. So all those who are spending hours cracking your head, this is the message I have for you, never substitute the time youve set apart for God. Exams or no exam never replace that time youve set apart, you wont know while you are doing it, but when the reward comes youll understand it all. When you sit at His feet, what takes you one hour will get over in half an hour or even less Hell give you extra wisdom and memory. Joshua1: 8,9 clearly promise success and prosperity for those who meditate on His word day and night. So first seek His face. For those who get less sleep during exams, this may sound silly but it works, ask God to make that 3 hour sleep equivalent to 6hrs so that you can be fresh and not tired. He says I give my beloved rest. Also build a hedge around your mind and what you learn so that it will remain.

Well let me sum it up by reminding you whatever you receive from God first and not, give thanks because in doing so you will put the devil to shame and victory will come. Here are a few scriptures you could read that will help you:

For I know the plans I have for you," says the LORD. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. (Jeremiah 29:19 NLT)

I do not consider, brethren, that I have captured and made it my own [yet]; but one thing I do [it is my one aspiration]: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the [supreme and heavenly] prize to which God in Christ Jesus is calling us upward.(Philippains 3:13,14 AMP)

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. (Philippians 4: 6 NASB)

For I can do everything with the help of Christ who gives me the strength I need.
(Philippians 4:13 NLT)

Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.(Isaiah 41:10 NKJV)

No one whose hope is in You will ever be put to shame, but they will be put to shame
who are treacherous without excuse.
(Psalm 25:3 NIV)

They do not fear bad news; they confidently trust the LORD to care for them.
(Psalm 112:7 NLT)

Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He will give you the desires and secret petitions of your heart
. (Psalm 37:4 AMP)
Be strong, courageous, and firm; fear not nor be in terror before them, for it is the Lord your God Who goes with you; He will not fail you or forsake you.
(Deutoronomy 31:6 AMP)

So, you see, it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to Him must believe that there is a God and that He rewards those who sincerely seek Him.
(Hebrews 11:6 NLT)

But He said to me, My grace (My favor and loving-kindness and mercy) is enough for you [sufficient against any danger and enables you to bear the trouble manfully]; for My strength and power are made perfect (fulfilled and completed) and [a]show themselves most effective in [your] weakness.

(2 Corinthians 12:9(a) AMP)

If you listen to these commands of the LORD your God and carefully obey them, the LORD will make you the head and not the tail, and you will always have the upper hand.
(Deutoronomy 28:13. NLT)

May the Lord Jesus bless you all. Praise the Lord!
