| Mount Palomar Cinsaut 2005 is a light bodied red that to me resembles a blend between Pinot Noir and Sangiovese.. Light enough for summer enjoyment yet substancial enough for a nice roast beef meal. Mount Palomar is in Temecula Valley. |
| Thornton 05 Old Vine Cucamonga Valley Zinfandel is an awesome example of just how good Zin can be....and the superiority of Cucamonga Valley Zin grapes! This selection seems to be a bit more fruit forward but still ver enjoyable as there is still some smoke and pepper present. Thornton Winery is in Temecula Valley. |
